Oliver Giles has worked in various roles in the business operations and product industries since 2006. In 2006, they established Oliver Giles Jobseeker Assistance and Career Coaching, providing career coaching and placement assistance to jobseekers in the Canberra and Sydney region. Oliver then worked at MAXIMUS as a Manager from 2006 to 2011, where they consulted to a range of local and federal government clientele in diverse project and resource management roles. From 2011 to 2012, they worked at The North Highland Company as a Manager, consulting on business transformation, strategic sourcing, organizational change management, and business process improvement projects. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at Phase One CG as an Associate Director, leading the Office of the CIO in setting up a Project Management Office in the US Department of Transportation's National Highways and Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). From 2016 to 2017, they worked at MINDBODY, Inc. as a Product Planning Leader in Product Operations. In 2020, they joined BriteCore as a Director of Services Operations and Director of Product Operations, setting up a Customer Journey program and working as the Acting Director of the Project Management and Configurations teams. Most recently, in 2021, they joined AuthenticID as the Vice President of Business Operations - Product, defining and rolling out a new set of business processes related to the company growth strategy.

Oliver Giles began their educational journey in 1988, when they attended Batemans Bay High until 1992. In 1993 and 1994, they studied Finnish language studies at the University of Helsinki and attended Jokela lukio. In 1994, they began studying at The Australian National University and obtained a BArts/Comm in 2001, majoring in Political Science, Geography, Management Accounting, and Accounting. Following their graduation, they attended Om Shanti College and obtained a Massage Therapy degree in 2002. In 2010, they obtained a Project Management degree from Drake International Training, with a field of study in Six Sigma Green Belt. In 2018, they obtained a Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification from Scrum.org and a Prosci Change Management Practicioner certification from Prosci.
