Phil Lofton has worked in a variety of roles across multiple companies. In 2021, they began working as an Insights Storyteller at Authenticx, where they conducted mixed-methods analysis of unstructured CX data and built human-centered stories. Phil also worked as a UX Researcher at Cope Notes, where they collaborated with a cross-functional team to identify research objectives and plan user research activities. In 2022, they began working as a Marketing Consultant at Probari, Inc.
Phil Lofton has also worked for Regenstrief Institute, Inc. since 2013. Phil began as a Public Relations Consultant and Digital Content Specialist, during which time they produced a documentary and coordinated a livestream viewing party. Phil also developed, wrote, hosted, edited, and produced the podcast "The Problem". Phil later became the Communications Manager, during which time they co-developed a strategic communication plan and assisted in planning and implementing community engagement initiatives. Phil then became the Communications Specialist, during which time they designed a staff feedback survey and increased the center's Twitter followers by nearly 400%. Finally, they worked as a Research Assistant, during which time they recruited 200+ patient/caregiver pairs and conducted 800+ outcome assessments.
Phil Lofton has a diverse educational background. Phil began their studies in 2004 at Covenant Christian High School, followed by a BA in Healthcare Administration from Lee University in 2011. Phil then went on to pursue a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in 2014, which they completed in 2017. Most recently, they have been a UX Fellow at Springboard from 2020-2021. Phil also has additional certifications from Springboard, LinkedIn, and other institutions, ranging from 2021 to 2020.
