Lemar Bachtiar

Lemar Bachtiar has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position as the Co-Founder & CFO of Authic Labs, where they explore the power of Web3 and collaborates with potential partners. Prior to that, they worked as a Working Student in Financial Regulatory at HVG Law LLP from August 2021 to March 2022. From 2018 to 2020, Lemar served as a Junior Associate and Working Student in Environmental Commodities & Renewable Energy at ACT Commodities, where they handled various sustainable energy certificates and products. Lemar also gained experience as a Student Intern in Corporate M&A at Baker McKenzie, as a Student Trainee in Banking & Finance at Clifford Chance, and as a Student Intern in Taxation at NautaDutilh, all in 2018. Additionally, Lemar founded the Eiger North Investment Group as part of their role with B&R Beurs Erasmus Investment Society from October 2015 to September 2016.

Lemar started their education at Wolfert Van Borselen Tweetalig, where they completed their high school education in vwo (pre-university education) from 2009 to 2015.

In 2015, Lemar enrolled at Erasmus School of Law, where they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree, majoring in both Tax Law and Law. Lemar completed this degree in 2019.

During their time at Erasmus School of Law, from 2016 to 2019, Lemar also pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and Business at Erasmus School of Economics.

In 2018 and 2019, Lemar also studied Mergers & Acquisitions as a minor at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

After completing their undergraduate degrees, Lemar continued their studies at Erasmus School of Law from 2020 to 2021, where they pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Financial Law.

Following their master's degree at Erasmus School of Law, Lemar joined the University of Amsterdam in 2021 for a Master of Laws (LLM) program with a specialization in Private Law: Commercial Legal Practice. This program is expected to be completed in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Lemar also obtained an International Honours Degree from Socrates Nederland in September 2015.
