Dr. Kameka Totten, DNP, RN, MBA, MHA, NE-BC, serves as the Vice President of Nursing at AuthoraCare Collective since November 2020. In addition, Dr. Totten has been an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Elon University and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University since August 2021 and January 2019, respectively, focusing on preparing nursing students to deliver culturally appropriate and evidence-based care. Dr. Totten's previous experience includes roles as Nursing Department Director, Assistant Director of Nursing, and Registered Nurse at Cone Health from May 2001 to November 2020, along with a brief tenure as a Nursing Instructor at Piedmont Community College. Dr. Totten holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and further education credentials from Pfeiffer University and Old Dominion University.
