Menno I. has a diverse work experience in data science and analysis. Menno started their career in 1997 as a Data Scientist at Sentient Machine Research Group, where they developed practical applications using artificial intelligence. Menno then co-founded ParaBot Services in 2002, where they worked as a Data Scientist and was involved in various research and development projects in web and text mining, data mining, and image and video recognition. In 2008, Menno joined the Netherlands Forensic Institute and held multiple roles, including Senior Forensic Data Scientist and Head of the Knowledge and Expertise Centre for Intelligent Data Analysis. Menno also worked at Erasmus MC as the Chief Science Information Officer and at Data Strategies as an AI, Data Science, and Data professional. Menno's most recent position is Chief Data Officer at The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets, where they currently work.

Menno I. attended Radboud University from 1992 to 2006. During this period, they pursued a degree in Artificial Intelligence / Cognitive Science and obtained their MSc.
