Rasmus Geertsema is a competition lawyer at Autoriteit Consument & Markt since April 2021 and serves as a board member for the Study Circle for European Law (STER) since May 2022. Previously, Rasmus worked as a transaction lawyer in banking and finance at Loyens & Loeff (August 2019 - April 2021), focusing on document drafting, client communication, and service optimization within the Innovation Centre. Rasmus also gained experience as a student assistant at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, involved in research and teaching, and as a team manager at Webhelp Nederland, overseeing operational performance. Additional roles include academic tutoring in European Law, co-founding Keurmerk Studentenkamer, and chairing Enactus Netherlands. Rasmus holds a Bachelor in International and European Law and a Master of Laws in European Economic Law from the University of Groningen, and is currently pursuing an LLM in Competition Law and Economics at the Brussels School of Competition.
