Rens Lokerse is an experienced data science professional currently serving as a Data Scientist at Autoriteit Consument & Markt since January 2022, following participation in a collaborative Data Science Traineeship with Autoriteit Financiële Markten and Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit. Rens previously completed data science traineeships at Autoriteit Financiële Markten and Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit in 2021, as well as roles as a Junior Data Analyst at Coney in 2019 and 2020, focusing on dashboard creation and Azure Cloud Platform development. Rens began a career in data analysis during an internship in product marketing at Otto B.V. in 2018, leveraging K-means clustering to enhance customer segmentation. Rens holds a Master's degree in Data Science and Society and a Pre-master in Data Science: Business and Governance from Tilburg University, alongside a Bachelor's degree from HZ University of Applied Sciences.
