Nicola Abernethy

Nicola Abernethy has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Nicola started their career as an Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1992 and worked there until 1997. Nicola then joined Macphie of Glenbervie as a Group Financial Controller, where they worked for 17 years until 2014. In 2015, they became a Financial Controller at the Australian College of Applied Education, a position they held until 2017. Currently, they are the CFO at the Autism Association of Western Australia, a role they have been in since 2018.

Nicola Abernethy completed their Master's Degree in Accounting from the University of Aberdeen from 1988 to 1992. Prior to that, they attended Bell Baxter High School in Cupar from 1983 to 1988, though no specific degree or field of study is indicated. Additionally, they obtained a certification called "The 5-Day Excel Challenge" from Lynda.com in October 2016.
