Anna Seifried

Director at Autism Care Today

As a member of her local American Legion’s Auxiliary unit, Anna has been the driving force behind countless local SW PA charitable causes for over a decade. Whether it’s running charity Christmas shopping for needy families from local school districts or organizing benefits such as spaghetti dinners, silent auctions and any number of special fund-raising events, Anna’s steadfast commitment to putting others before herself and her unwavering willingness to “step up” when things need to get done have always been some of her preeminent traits.

When her son, Benjamin was diagnosed with Autism in 2012, it focused her resolve and the West Brownsville American Legion Ride for Autism was born. In the past four years, the “Ride” has raised nearly $60,000 for Autism Care Today for Military Families: a cause near and dear to her heart due to the strong military ties in her family (her husband is a 3rd generation military vet & her family tree consists of a long list of those who’ve served). Few local-level charities have become as recognized and embraced by the community as the Ride for Autism & it proves that no matter who you are or where you live, the right people with the right motivation can better the lives of others in ways never thought possible.
