Marilyn Thompson is an experienced professional in the field of family support and program management, currently serving as the Director of Family Supports and Programs at Autism Ontario since November 2006. In this role, Marilyn oversees a province-wide program that assists families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder, working collaboratively with a team to deliver social events, expert workshops, and specialized program development. Prior to this position, Marilyn served as the Senior Manager of Residential Services at New Leaf Living and Learning Together Inc., and as a Behaviour Resource Consultant with the York Catholic District School Board, providing critical support for students with autism. Marilyn's extensive background also includes roles as a Child & Youth Worker at Bartimaeus Inc. and Residential Supervisor at New Leaf Living and Learning Together Inc. Education credentials include a Human Service Management Certificate from Georgian College, and degrees in Child and Youth Work from Mohawk College and Ryerson University.
