Rahul Mehta

Rahul Mehta is an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing degrees with a strong focus on research and community service. Current positions include Undergraduate Researcher at the UNC Biomedical Research Imaging Center and the TEACCH Autism Program, as well as President of the UNC Chapter of the Autism Society of North Carolina, where Rahul leads curriculum design and volunteer initiatives. Additionally, Rahul serves as the Sensory Room Project Director at Campus Y, focusing on mental health and accessibility projects. Involved in community outreach, Rahul leads the Fit Feet program in collaboration with the Orange County Department on Aging, providing essential services to victims of domestic violence. With previous experience as an Emergency Medical Technician and a significant background in robotics, evidenced by leadership roles at eBorg Robotics, Rahul demonstrates a commitment to both education and humanitarian efforts.
