Vijay Vasudevan

Vijay Vasudevan, PhD, has extensive work experience in data science and research in various organizations. Vijay began their career as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2013, where they worked until February 2016. Vijay then joined the University of Florida College of Medicine as an Assistant Scientist from March 2016 to May 2018.

In 2018, Vijay became a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center of Innovation on Disability and Rehabilitation Research, where they worked until June 2019. Vijay then joined Autism Speaks, where they held the role of Associate Data Scientist from June 2019 to November 2022.

Currently, Vijay serves as the Director of Data Science and Evaluation Research at Autism Speaks, a position they assumed in November 2022. Their work experience demonstrates their expertise in data science and research, particularly in the field of disability and autism.

Vijay Vasudevan, Ph.D., completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Disability Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 2008 to 2013. Prior to this, they earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Florida between 2006 and 2008.
