Carole Knowles

Carole Knowles has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the field of education and children's services. Carole is currently the Director of Business Development at Outcomes First Group, where they started in November 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Director of Operations at Autism West Midlands from 2019 onwards. From 2013 to 2019, Carole worked at Core Assets Children's Services, where they served as the Operations Director, overseeing various services related to family support, child protection, education, disability, and NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) in the UK. Carole also held the position of Director for Youth Inclusion at Serco from 2010 to 2013 and was a Strategic Leader for Youth Inclusion at Stoke-on-Trent Children and Young People's Services from 2008 to 2010. Carole's earlier experience includes roles such as Head of Service and Senior Manager at Education Walsall, Quality Facilitator and Dyslexia Trainer at the DfES (Department for Education and Skills), and Associate Inspector at the Adult Learning Inspectorate. Carole has also worked as an Education Manager at HMYOI Stoke Heath and as a National Trainer for the YJB Plus Programme at CfBT on a consultancy basis.

Carole Knowles has an Advanced Diploma in SpLD from the University of Birmingham. Carole also holds a Certificate in Education from Bolton Institute. In addition, they have a C&G 7307 Further & Adult Ed Teachers Certificate from Bury College, with a field of study in D32/33/34 Assessors Awards. Carole Knowles further pursued their education at The University of Manchester, earning a BSc in Psychology with First Class Honors.
