Leah Jones, CMP, CAE, DES began their work experience in 2001 as a Sales Coordinator at Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Leah worked there until 2004 when they joined the Auto Care Association as a Sr. Director, overseeing meetings and events.

Leah Jones, CMP, CAE, DES completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications at the University of Maryland from 1997 to 2001. Leah obtained the Certified Meeting Professional certification from the Convention Industry Council in 2010. In 2016, Leah achieved the Certified Association Executive certification from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership. In March 2021, they obtained the Digital Event Strategist certification from PCMA.
