Mark Allen has extensive work experience in various roles, primarily within the automotive industry. Mark currently serves as the President of AutoAp, Inc., a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the Executive Vice President of Business Development at AutoAp, Inc. from April 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining AutoAp, Inc., Mark held senior leadership positions at Quorum Information Technologies Inc. for over 15 years. Their most recent role at Quorum was Senior Vice President of Business Development from August 2020 to January 2021. Mark was also the VP of Sales, Marketing & Services at Quorum from January 2006 to August 2020. Mark was known for being a change agent, a people and customer advocate, and an innovator during their tenure at Quorum.

Mark has also founded and launched their own company, Playing Field, Inc., a B2B SaaS innovative web services company focused on integrating systems used by automotive dealerships. Mark successfully raised seed funding, developed business plans, and led a high-performance team to achieve sales and launch production services. Playing Field, Inc. was sold in early 2006 to an industry competitor.

Additionally, Mark has entrepreneurial experience as a Co-Owner of Amici Coffeehouse, LLC, a small independent coffeeshop that they purchased and successfully transformed to appeal to a new clientele. Mark sold the business in 2005 to a local restaurant owner.

Mark's earlier work experience includes various leadership positions at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), a global systems and IT outsourcing organization. Mark held roles such as Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, where they were responsible for strategic planning, partnerships, and major business development pursuits. Mark also formed and managed the organization's product group as the Vice President of Portfolios and Technology. Mark played a significant role in leading the development of several pioneering global web projects for General Motors during their time at EDS.

Mark's career began at General Motors, where they held various positions in the GMC Truck Marketing Division and in a factory-owned dealership. Mark started as a co-op student and worked in roles such as Systems Services Manager and Associate Programmer/Analyst.

In addition to their corporate experience, Mark also created their own consulting and custom application development company, HelpDesk, Inc. Mark developed PC-based database systems for a mortgage services company and a legal firm during their time as President and Owner of HelpDesk, Inc.

Overall, Mark Allen has a diverse background in leadership, business development, entrepreneurship, and technology within the automotive industry.

Mark Allen earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Lawrence Technological University in 1987. Prior to that, they attended Oakland Community College from 1981 to 1983, where they studied Computer Science but did not obtain a degree. Later, from 1991 to 1993, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Management and Product Marketing at the University of Detroit Mercy.
