Simon Vogel

Simon Vogel is an experienced engineering professional with a background in mechanical engineering and a focus on severe-duty vocational trucks. Currently serving as Operations Project Manager, Field Services Engineer, and Current Product Engineer at Autocar Trucks since November 2017, Simon has played a key role in the development and manufacturing of these specialized vehicles. Prior experience includes a position as Design Engineer at Triz Engineering Solutions from January 2015 to October 2017, collaborating with Autocar on truck production. Early in the career, Simon completed an engineering internship at Welfit Oddy (Pty) Ltd in late 2012, gaining hands-on experience in the engineering department. Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Stellenbosch University, earned between 2011 and 2014.
