Arkady Gilman

Arkady Gilman is a seasoned software architect and manager with extensive experience in the field of Building Information Modeling (BIM), particularly as a Senior Software Architect at Autodesk since 2002, where expertise includes technical strategy for BIM and scalability initiatives. Prior to this, Arkady was a Senior Development Manager at Autodesk, overseeing the Revit product line as it became a leading software tool in architecture, engineering, and construction. Arkady's career began at Revit Technology as a Principal Software Engineer, contributing to the development of a commercially successful parametric building modeler before its acquisition by Autodesk. Additional experience includes roles at Caere Corp. focused on OCR software, a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of British Columbia researching coalbed methane, and early work in real-time fingerprint verification at Personix, Inc. Arkady holds a Ph.D. in Mathematical Mechanics from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and an MS in Applied Mathematics from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
