Phil Peterson is a distinguished architect at Autodesk, focusing on innovative technology for intelligent scheduling since May 2020, following the acquisition of his cloud application, Consilium, developed through techniqueology, LLC, where Phil serves as founder and architect. With extensive experience in visual effects and animation production technology, Peterson has held key roles at notable organizations such as Lucasfilm, The Walt Disney Studios, and Digital Domain, emphasizing technology strategy, architecture, and leadership. Additionally, Peterson contributes as a committee member for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Digital Imaging Technology Subcommittee and has previously served in various technical leadership roles within the media and entertainment sector. Holding both M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University, Peterson's career reflects a deep commitment to advancing digital production technologies.
