Fernando Luz

Fernando Luz is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and team management. Currently serving as Engineering Lead at AUTODOC since April 2024, Fernando focuses on migrating the Search and Discovery Domain to a microservices architecture, employing Go, Kafka, and PostgreSQL/MySQL. Previous roles include Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Talkdesk, where Fernando oversaw team integration efforts and contributed to a pioneering contact center banking system product. Prior experience includes a position at Altran, integrating robotic systems, leading IT initiatives at Technomar Engenharia Ltda, and serving as an Associate Professor at Universidade Paulista. Fernando holds a PhD in Computer Science, an MSc in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field, all from Universidade de São Paulo.
