Colin Smith

Colin Smith is an experienced engineer currently serving as Ingenieur at Transfergesellschaft Küste mbH - Betriebsstätte Autoliv III since April 2024, and previously as Team Leader Metrology at Autoliv, where responsibilities included managing a metrology lab for production quality management and supporting seat belt development. Colin's extensive background includes roles at the Department of National Defence as Ammunition Disposal Section Head and Ammunition Technical Officer, where project management and engineering assessments were critical for ammunition safety and procurement for the Canadian Army. Colin also held instructional and administrative positions in the Canadian Armed Forces and holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Chemical Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada, along with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Engineering Physics from McMaster University.
