Richard Hargreaves

Richard Hargreaves has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Richard started in 1973 as a London Office Manager at 3i Group plc and then became the Chairman of BVCA in 1989. In 2009, they became a Director at Blue Systems Ltd, which trades as sales-i, a SaaS sales productivity tool company. In 2010, they joined Numecent Holdings Ltd as a Director, where they focused on virtualization and data streaming technologies. In 2017, they became a Director at Autologyx, a company involved in software automation. In 2020, they took on the role of Director at PCL Health. The following year, in 2021, they became a Director at SnapDragon Monitoring Ltd and Shop Street (Technologies) Limited. Additionally, in 2021, they started working as a Business Angel Investment Specialist and Author, focusing on providing practical advice for angel investors in unquoted companies. Lastly, since 2016, Richard Hargreaves has been the Director at Boku, Inc., which specializes in direct carrier billing and is the sole supplier to Apple and Sony.

Richard Hargreaves completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Sciences from the University of Cambridge between 1964 and 1967. Following that, they pursued further education at Imperial College London from 1967 to 1971, earning both an MSc and PhD in Electrical Materials Science.
