Matthew Wilson

Matthew Wilson is an experienced IT operations executive with a strong background in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Currently serving as the Executive Director of IT Operations at Autolus Ltd. since 2018, Matthew leads initiatives focused on T-cell programming and manufacturing technologies to enhance cancer therapies. Prior to this role, Matthew was the Head of IT Operations at Sucampo Pharmaceuticals, overseeing IT infrastructure across key global locations. Matthew also held the position of Head of IT Operations, Americas at QIAGEN Biotech, managing information systems for a large user base in the Americas. Earlier in Matthew's career, important achievements included serving as Vice President of Technical Engineering and Support at Chevy Chase Bank (later acquired by Capital One), where Matthew was responsible for the IT environment supporting extensive operational needs. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Virginia Tech.
