Teresa Aparicio Jiménez

Teresa Aparicio Jiménez has diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Teresa is currently serving as the Director of Sales - Europe at AUTOMAT-IT since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) where they held the positions of Sr. Account Manager from July 2022 to January 2023, and Startup Account Manager from August 2020 to September 2022. In 2020, they founded Cities on Air, a company focused on digitalizing the industry of Air Pollution using Artificial Intelligence. Before that, they worked at Amadeus as a Portfolio Strategy Manager & BI Governance from July 2018 to August 2020, and as a Sales Consultant from November 2017 to July 2018. Teresa began their career at Telefónica as a Pre-Sales Engineer, where they worked from July 2014 to November 2017.

Teresa Aparicio Jiménez obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Universidad de Granada, which they completed from 2010 to 2014. Teresa then pursued an Erasmus program in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2012 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Information and Communication Electronic System at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. from 2014 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Teresa also obtained several certifications. In 2014, they obtained the Sales - Technologies certification from EMC. Furthermore, in 2020, they obtained certifications in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner and the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certifications.
