Ron Veselenak

Ron Veselenak, Ph.D., is a Senior Field Application Scientist at Automata since April 2024, with extensive experience in the life sciences and automation. Prior to this role, Ron served at Tecan from 2014 to 2024 in various capacities, including Senior Applications Scientist and Field Automation Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed application development and customer training related to liquid handling platforms. At UTMB from 2002 to 2014, Ron held positions such as Assistant Director of a research laboratory, focusing on assay development for medium- to high-throughput screening, and contributed to a NIH-funded project for screening antiviral compounds. Ron obtained a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from The University of Texas Medical Branch and a B.S. in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University.
