AutomateLocal is an AI-powered missed-call automation platform purpose-built for local service contractors and small businesses across Canada. The platform transforms how service businesses respond to inbound leads by eliminating the hidden revenue leak caused by missed calls—a problem that costs the average local contractor $75,000+ annually.

By deploying intelligent SMS automation and AI-assisted booking workflows, AutomateLocal ensures that no potential customer inquiry goes unanswered, regardless of whether the business owner is on another call, serving a customer, or closed for the day. The result: more booked appointments, shorter sales cycles, and dramatically improved customer experience—all without adding headcount or technical complexity.

The Problem: The Hidden Revenue Drain
Local service businesses face a universal challenge that rarely gets addressed directly: missed calls are revenue killers.

The Statistics That Matter:

62% of calls to small businesses go completely unanswered

85% of customers won't call back if you miss them the first time

The average contractor loses $75,000+ per year in recoverable revenue from missed leads

Just 5 minutes is all it takes for a lead to go cold and call a competitor

For contractors working in the field—HVAC technicians on roofs, plumbers under sinks, roofers managing multi-day projects—answering the phone in real-time is physically impossible. But by the time they finish the job and check their phone, the customer has already booked with someone else. A business isn't losing leads because of poor marketing; it's losing them because of poor follow-up.

Most attempts to solve this problem create new headaches:

Hiring a receptionist costs $3,500/month, requires management overhead, and still doesn't work nights and weekends

Basic voicemail systems go full and leads sit unheard for days

Email automation has an 20% open rate while SMS reaches 98%
