Thaddeus Portz

Thaddeus Portz is a skilled Automation Systems Engineer at Automation & Control Concepts since July 2014, with previous experience as a Boeing Capstone Project Manager at Saluki Engineering Company, where leadership of a multidisciplinary team culminated in the design and construction of an integrated surface vehicle system. Thaddeus has diverse experience in various roles, including Master Control Operator at WSIU, musician at MJM Ministries, camera operator and assistant editor at Black Lion, and shipping/receiving at Menards. Early career includes work as a laboratory technician in the SIUC department of Cinematography and a summer trainee with the Illinois Department of Transportation. Thaddeus holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from SIUC and a Bachelor of Arts in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
