Hank Tanner

Hank Tanner is the President of Automation & Electronics, Inc. since December 2012, leading a company specializing in industrial electrical design and build contracting, with expertise in automation and communication. Prior to this role, Hank worked as a Project Development Engineer at Blue Sugars, where leadership in developing a biomass-to-fuel ethanol process was showcased. Hank's experience also includes serving as a Production/Process Engineer at Tate & Lyle, managing operations, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and overseeing projects with budgets up to $1.5 million. Earlier internship positions at KL Process Design Group, BJ Services, and Custom Energy Construction contributed to a strong foundation in engineering and process design, while education was completed with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from South Dakota Mines.
