Anand Swaroop has a strong background in the field of technology and telecommunications. Anand started their career in 1994 as an Assistant Executive Engineer at Indian Telephone Industries Ltd., working in the Telecom R&D Division. Anand then moved on to Lucent Technology (Bell Labs Innovations) as a Staff Software Engineer in 1997, before joining FIBCOM India Limited as an Assistant Manager later that year. In 2000, they became a Project Manager at Tellabs, specializing in embedded software development for SDH, DWDM, and EoSDH products. In 2010, Anand Swaroop joined Fibcom India Ltd. as an Assistant General Manager in the R&D department, focusing on embedded software for telecom transport products. Anand currently works at Autometers Alliance Ltd as the Head of Department for Data Acquisition & Communication Systems, where they oversee the development of various products for Indian Railways and Metro systems. Additionally, they also serve as the Head of Technology Group for R&D, managing the development and implementation of advanced technologies such as Traction Converters, Vehicle Control Units, and PA/PIS systems.

Anand Swaroop's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, which they obtained from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, from 1988 to 1992. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Engineering degree in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India, spanning from 1992 to 1994.
