Tom Bellamy

Tom Bellamy has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Tom began their career as a Warehouse Assistant and Forklift Driver at Consumables Solutions Limited from September 2005 to December 2006. Tom then joined the Royal Navy as an Able Seaman Warfare Specialist from January 2007 to April 2012.

In 2012, Tom transitioned to the tech industry and started working at GForces as a Software QA Tester. Tom was responsible for daily QA management, testing new products, providing support, and liaising with product architects. Tom was promoted to the role of Senior Software Tester from June 2014 to October 2015, where they also led the introduction of new products and encouraged team development.

Tom then moved to Precisely | Trust in Data in 2015 and held multiple roles. Tom started as a Quality Assurance Software Engineer/Analyst from November 2015 to October 2016, where they reviewed requirements, executed test plans, and collaborated with other departments. Tom was later promoted to Senior Quality Assurance Software Engineer, a role they held from October 2016 to December 2020. In this position, they acted as a QA lead, drove collaboration among testing teams, and researched new technologies to improve Quality Assurance.

Since 2020, Tom has been employed at Automotive Transformation Group. Tom initially served as a Senior Test Engineer from December 2020 to January 2023, and then assumed the role of Lead Test Engineer from January 2023 onwards. In these roles, they have been actively involved in ensuring quality throughout the delivery process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and analyzing and contributing to testing requirements.

Overall, Tom Bellamy has gained extensive experience in quality assurance, testing, and team leadership throughout their career.

Tom Bellamy attended Cowplain Community School from 2000 to 2005, where they studied English Language and Literature. Tom has additional certifications from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board, including the Foundation level and Foundation level extension in Agile testing. Tom is also certified as a Scrum Master by Scrum.
