Kelly Ferguson is the current Chief of Staff at Automotus. Prior to that, they were the Director Market Transformation, Pilots at Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) from August 2018 to May 2021. In 2020, they and their team partnered with community organizations to deploy four zero emissions mobility pilots in Long Beach, Pacoima, San Pedro and Leimert Park while providing support to emerging startups for successful deployments. Kelly also led the effort with the City of Santa Monica to deploy the nation's first Zero Emissions Delivery Zone with over 15 stakeholders including community organizations, delivery companies, regional transportation agencies and more. The Santa Monica ZEDZ launched in Feb 2021 and has been featured in several publications (WEF, C40, others) to share early learnings of community and stakeholder engagement, ecosystem approach, and policy implications relating to land use and last mile delivery operations. Prior to their work at LACI, Kelly was the Director, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties, Energize CA from March 2017 to August 2018.
Kelly Ferguson has a Master's in Environmental Science and Management from the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as a BS in Public Policy from Vanderbilt University.
