Jennifer Schmitz

Jennifer Schmitz is a board member at Autonomy Institute and has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry. Jennifer started their career at Charles Schwab as a VP, account executive in wealth management. Jennifer then moved to Quantum Capital Management as the VP of specialized risk portfolios. In 2007, they joined Visa as the project head and in-house subject matter expert for risk management and operational efficiency. Jennifer consulted with some of the largest North American financial institutions to improve their ROI. In 2011, they left Visa to join Lattice Industries Inc. as the managing director. There, they were responsible for finding innovative IoT and network risk solutions for the Department of Homeland Security's Science and Technology Directorate. In 2015, they founded Urban Concepts LLC and served as the board chairman until 2021. Jennifer has a proven track record in helping companies reduce risk and improve operational efficiency.

Jennifer Schmitz has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Mills College in Global Management, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey in International Finance. Jennifer also has a degree in International Studies from DePaul University in Global Economics, Archeology.
