Ivan Carrasco

Ivan Carrasco is originally from Santiago, Chile where he did his undergrad in Electronic Engineering. In 2018, he completed his master’s degree in IT at Northwestern University. He’s had over 12 years of professional experience ranging from technical startups to more established companies, working on the network infrastructure to software development and website design.

Within this tenure, he’s worked in Chile, Mexico, and now most recently in the United States. Ivan joined AutoPair in the summer of 2018 where he’s maintained and developed the website working directly with Ken and their various summer interns. In his free time, Ivan worked on developing and maintaining software for a foundation that supports kids at risk, back in Chile. He loves being able to give back to the community where he was raised and help the underprivileged where he can.

He is the second of 5 siblings, all engineers, three of whom still work in Chile and one who is living and working in California. Ivan’s parents instilled a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit in him at a young age. His Mother, an Engineer herself, had a few of her own businesses. His father was one of the first experts in Criminology in Latin America. For exercise, Ivan enjoys practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu and exploring this great city with his friends.
