René Koppelhus

René Koppelhus has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. René is currently the CEO of AUTOproff Sverige AB since November 2019. Prior to this role, they worked as a Project Manager at the same company.

From 2010 to 2018, René was employed at Copenhagen Zoo where they held various positions. René served as the Head of Division, COO from May 2012 until their departure. In this role, they were responsible for strategy development and the daily management of over 90 employees. René also contributed to the overall company strategy as part of the senior management team. Before that, they were the Head of Animals Department, where they managed approximately 50 employees, implemented restructuring initiatives, and handled budgeting responsibilities.

From 2008 to 2010, René worked as a Business Manager at Skogsvårdsbolaget. René was responsible for developing the company and ensuring quality for key customers in Sweden, Denmark, and Germany. In this role, they managed a team of over 100 employees and achieved a significant revenue increase of 200%.

René's career started at Södra where they worked as an Områdesinspektor from 2003 to 2008. Their responsibilities included forest management for four large forest estates in Skåne, operational planning, and subcontractor management.

In 2002, René held the position of Forest Ranger at Björnstorp Gods.

René Koppelhus completed a Mini MBA program at Probana Business School from 2011 to 2012. In 2017 to 2018, they pursued a Håndboldtræner (Handball Coach) certification from Svensk Håndboldsforbund. In 2003 to 2004, René attended Södra and obtained a KUPA 7 in Management. René also holds a degree as a skovingenør from Skovskolen Nødebo, which they completed from 1998 to 2003. René's education history includes a Merkonom degree from Herning Handelsskole, which they achieved from 1997 to 1998.
