Graeme Nieman

Graeme Nieman is an experienced insurance professional who currently serves as Interim Group CEO at AUTOPROTECT (MBI) LTD. Prior to this, they spent over a decade in various leadership roles at Correlation Risk Partners and Lombard Insurance Company Ltd.

Graeme began their career in 2009 as a portfolio manager with Lombard Insurance Company Ltd’s trade credit division. In this role, they provided management and underwriting oversight for the division’s largest client portfolio. Graeme also specialized as a financial underwriter in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods and Pharmaceutical industries.

In 2013, Graeme joined Correlation Risk Partners as head of motor product partnerships. In this role, they were responsible for the oversight and management of a number of equity partnerships within the motor sector. Graeme also provided management, financial, strategic, and general corporate governance support to the portfolio, as well as underwriting, regulatory and new product development expertise.

Graeme’s extensive experience in the insurance industry makes him well-suited to their current role as Interim Group CEO at AUTOPROTECT (MBI) LTD.

Graeme Nieman attended the University of Johannesburg, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce Honours (B.Com.) Hons in Investment Management. Graeme also attended St Davids Marist Inanda.
