Sanet Uys

Sanet Uys is the Group CFO at AUTOPROTECT (MBI) LTD. Sanet has over two decades of experience in financial operations, budgeting, and forecasting.

Uys began their career in auditing and consulting before moving into the insurance industry. Sanet spent eight years at Hollard Insurance, where they were Head of Financial Reporting for the company's centres of excellence, underwriting management agencies, and personal lines businesses. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all financial operations, business unit performance, and compliance with company reporting practices. Sanet also played a key role in the integration of Regent (acquired by Hollard in July 2017) into Hollard Insure and the migration to Hollard's GL system - Great Plains.

Uys is a certified chartered accountant and holds a BCom degree from the University of Pretoria.

Sanet Uys pursued a career in accounting, beginning with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Science from the University of Pretoria. Sanet then obtained their Certificate in the Theory of Accounting from the same school before going on to complete their Master of Business Administration - MBA at Henley Business School.

Sanet Uys works with Tara Williams - Chief Compliance Officer, Marek Cholodniuk - Managing Director, and Mike Edwards - Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. Sanet Uys reports to Graeme Nieman, Interim Group CEO.
