T.J. Tavares has a wealth of work experience spanning from 2000 to the present. In 2000, they began working at Verizon as a New Initiatives & Products Sales Manager, where they achieved over 150% gross sales to quota for 14 consecutive months and was an Ovation award winner. In 2005, they moved on to Lindenberg Technologies as a Solutions Consultant. In 2007, they worked at Matrix Resources as a Solutions Consultant, managing customer relationships and helping recruiting staff source IT. In 2008, they became the CEO of Trinity Healthcare Solutions LLC, a certified channel partner for Allscripts Professional EHR, Practice Fusion EHR and Nuance (Dragon Medically Speaking). In 2013, they founded and became the CEO of Symvato, an online HIPAA Security Risk Analysis. In 2016, they were the VP of Sales at Gremlin Social, a social media management platform, and the Organizer at Lean Startup Circle. In 2018, they became the Chief Revenue Officer at Keybot. Finally, in 2022, they are the VP of Sales at AutoRemind.

T.J. Tavares' education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Washington University in St. Louis from 2007 to 2008, and an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Computer Science from Saint Louis University from 2001 to 2007. Additionally, T.J. Tavares has obtained several certifications, including a Udacity Digital Marketing Nanodegree from Udacity in March 2018, a Hubspot Inbound Marketing Certification from HubSpot Academy in March 2017, a CHPSE from HIPAA Training.net in December 2012, an A+ Certified Professional from CompTIA in August 2008, and a Network+ Certified Professional from CompTIA in August 2008.
