Pablo Carrera Argibay

Pablo Carrera Argibay has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Pablo currently works as a Project Director at Autoridad Portuaria de Valencia since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at D4R7 Construction s.r.o. in various roles such as Segment Manager, Deputy Segment Manager, and Site Manager from 2016 to 2022. Pablo was responsible for managing a significant construction project, overseeing the construction of a bridge over the Danube River. Before that, they worked at NEXIA INFRAESTRUCTURAS SLU as a Contractor Director from 2014 to 2016, where they managed the execution of various contracts with public and private parties. Pablo also worked at PROYECTA, ACTIVIDADES PROFESIONALES DE LA CONSTRUCCIÓN S.L. as a Contractor Director and founding partner from 2008 to 2014, where they handled civil and building projects contracted with the public administration. Pablo started their career at GRUPO PUENTES as a Project Manager from 2001 to 2007, where they managed projects such as the Cantabrian Highway section and a bridge over the Ebro River.

Pablo Carrera Argibay completed their undergraduate education in Civil Engineering at the Universidade da Coruña from 1995 to 2001. Pablo then pursued a Technical Masters in Prevention Risks at APECCO, focusing on worksafety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and psychology, from 2002 to 2003. Later, in 2006 and 2007, Pablo earned a Masters in environmental affairs Construction Sector from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. Additionally, they obtained various certifications in leadership development, cross-cultural communication, problem-solving techniques, unconscious bias, and effective communication.
