Lucile Fournereau has a varied work experience in different organizations and roles. Lucile started their career at BNP Paribas as a Junior consultant before moving on to SAUR as an Assistant in Management Control. Lucile then joined Amundi Investment Solutions as a Research Coordinator and later worked at the French permanent representation to the European Union as an Intern to the competition counsellor in Economic & Financial Affairs. Lucile gained further experience at EY in the Financial Services Office. Currently, they are working at the French competition authority as the Deputy Chief of the Regulated Professions Service, where they previously served as a Rapporteur.

The French competition authority is an independant institution specialized in the supervising of anticompetitive practices, providing expertise on market functioning and reviewing merger transactions. It was created in 2009, after transformation of the Conseil de la concurrence. Serving the consumers’ interests, its goal is to uphold fair competition and contribute to the competitive functioning of markets in Europe and at the international level.
