Bruno V.

Bruno V. has extensive work experience in the financial sector, with a focus on investment funds oversight. Bruno started their career at the Autorité des marchés financiers (Quèbec) in 2016 as a Summer Student in Investment Funds. Bruno then transitioned into a full-time role as an Investment Funds Analyst, where they worked until 2019.

In 2020, Bruno returned to the Autorité des marchés financiers as an Investment Funds Analyst in the Investment Funds Oversight department. Bruno later advanced to the role of Articled Student in Legal Affairs, where they gained experience in legal matters related to the financial industry. Subsequently, they were promoted to Senior Analyst in the Investment Funds Oversight department in 2021.

Currently, Bruno is serving as the Acting Director of Investment Products Oversight at the Autorité des marchés financiers, a role they assumed in February 2023. Throughout their career, Bruno has continuously demonstrated their expertise and commitment to the financial regulatory field.

Bruno V. has an extensive education history. Bruno completed their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in North American Common Law from Université de Montréal in 2021. Prior to that, they completed the Professional Training Program at École du Barreau in 2020. In 2019, Bruno completed their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Université de Montréal. Before pursuing a career in law, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) degree with a major in Finance from Concordia University in 2016. Bruno's educational journey started at Cégep Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, where they attained a Diploma of College Studies in 2012.

In addition to their academic achievements, Bruno V. possesses various certifications. Bruno obtained a CPR/AED Certificate - Level C from the Canadian Red Cross in May 2021. Bruno is also a member in good standing with the Barreau du Québec, a professional association for lawyers in the province.
