Barbara Nieuwenhuijsen

Barbara Nieuwenhuijsen currently serves as a Toezichthouder retailbeleggen at Autoriteit Financiële Markten since January 2019. Prior to this role, Barbara worked as an editor at Fondsnieuws from September 2010 to December 2018 and held journalistic positions at Z24 and Staatscourant from May 2007 to August 2010 and April 2004 to May 2007, respectively. Educational qualifications include a DSI Beleggingsadviseur certification from NIBE-SVV (2010-2011), a Master of Arts in Dutch language and literature from the University of Amsterdam (1998-2002), and studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2003. Barbara completed secondary education at Stedelijk Gymnasium Johan van Oldenbarnevelt in Amersfoort.
