Burt Tonkens

Burt Tonkens has a diverse range of work experience in the finance and investment management industry. Burt began their career at Rabobank Nederland Effectendiensten in 2000 as a Trader/Processmanager and worked there until 2006. Burt then moved on to Rabo Securities where they held the role of ECM/Corporate Advisory until 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Project Manager at Freelance Project Management. In 2013, they joined Achmea Beleggingsfondsen Beheer BV where they held various roles, including Senior Medewerker & Project Manager Fondsenbureau and Project Manager Unit Linked Fund Migrations. In 2016, they joined Achmea Investment Management as an Investment Solutions Specialist. Burt'smost recent work experience is with Autoriteit Financiële Markten, where they have held the positions of Toezichthouder - Asset Management and Toezichthouder - Account Management since 2017.

Burt Tonkens completed their education with a focus on Business Management at the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Law at Utrecht University from 1993 to 1998.
