Tycho van Ewijk

Tycho van Ewijk is a Supervisor at Autoriteit Financiële Markten since July 2020, focusing on the crowdfunding sector and the transition to new European regulatory frameworks, as well as working within the Retail Supervision domain on mortgages and payments with an emphasis on data-driven innovation. Prior to this role, Tycho served as a Senior Consultant and Consultant at INNOPAY, leading a licensing team and addressing regulatory topics in the financial sector. Earlier experience includes supervision roles at De Nederlandsche Bank, where responsibilities included oversight of payment and electronic money institutions and banking supervision, and a brief tenure at the European Central Bank coordinating the 2016 EBA Stress Test Exercise. Tycho holds a Master's degree in Organization Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
