Willemien Gerritsen

Willemien Gerritsen has been serving as a Toezichthouder at Autoriteit Financiële Markten since August 2017, after previously holding the position of Junior Toezichthouder. Prior experience includes a half-year internship at the Ministerie van Veiligheid en Justitie within the Directoraat-Generaal Jeugd en Sanctietoepassing in 2015, a role on the Commissie van Beheer for R.K.S.V. Albertus Magnus from September 2013 to September 2014, and working as a Facilitair medewerker at Exploitatiestichting Westerholm / Rikkers-Lubbers from September 2010 to July 2011. Willemien Gerritsen holds a Master's degree in Juridische Bestuurskunde/Recht en Bestuur and a Bachelor's degree in Juridische Bestuurskunde and Rechtsgeleerdheid, both from the University of Groningen, where educational pursuits also included a Propedeuse and an earlier education at Augustinus College Groningen culminating in VWO.
