Hugo Bertels is a seasoned business development professional with extensive experience in the transport and logistics sector. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager for the Truck & Van Competence Center at Autorola Belgium since January 2011, Hugo specializes in creating remarketing solutions for second-hand rolling materials across Europe. Previously, Hugo held the position of General Manager for Paul Gunther, where a significant increase in the Belux rental fleet occurred, alongside the establishment of operations in France. Earlier in the career, Hugo managed multiple regions for Confern Containerpool Benelux and worked as a Marketing Manager for TIP-GE, implementing sales initiatives, expanding networks, and overseeing mergers and acquisitions. Hugo holds a Master in Applied Economic Sciences with a specialization in Transport and Maritime Economics from the University of Antwerp.
