Elpidio Marotta

Elpidio Marotta is currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Consorzio Autostrade Italiane Energia (CAIE) since March 2025, focusing on energy contracts and supplies. At Autostrade per l'Italia, Elpidio has held various positions since November 2008, including Head of Energy Management, overseeing electrical and lighting systems, HVAC systems, and sustainability projects. Responsibilities have included managing energy procurement, renewable energy projects, and the maintenance of energy systems. Elpidio's previous experience includes project management in HVAC systems and operations and maintenance engineering in telecommunications. Elpidio holds degrees in Electronic Engineering and Electrical Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and completed further education at SDA Bocconi.
