Alan brings to Autotech the perspective of a senior automotive technology executive. Alan is presently a professor at University of Michigan Ann Arbor and CTO of Lightweight Innovations for Tomorrow in Detroit.
Alan served for many years as head of Global R&D for General Motors, leading their seven advanced technology laboratories around the globe. Prior to GM, Alan worked at Ford Motor, where he led the vehicle crash safety team and Lincoln vehicle engineering group.
Alan earned his PhD and MS in Applied Physics at Harvard, and his BS degree in Materials Engineering from Brown. Alan lives in Michigan with his family, and frequently visits Israel on behalf of the transportation startups he supports.
Alan served as board member of CellEra (Acq. Elbit) and serves as board member of BrightWay Vision and Nine Sigma.
