Miao Liao

Miao Liao has had a varied career in engineering and research. In 2004, they interned at CG&CAD Center, Tsinghua University, and in 2005, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Computer Science Department of the University of Kentucky. In 2007, they had two internships, one at Microsoft Research and one at Intuitive Surgical. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Researcher at Sharp Labs of America, where they worked on a variety of computer vision and image processing algorithms. In 2011, they also began working as a Teaching Assistant at the Computer Science Department of the University of Kentucky. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Sr Engineer at AutoX Inc, and from 2018 to 2020, they were a Principle Researcher at Baidu USA. In 2020, they became an Engineering Manager at AutoX.ai.

Miao Liao obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University between 2001 and 2005. Afterwards, they pursued a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky, which they completed in 2010.
