Roy Jacob began their career in 2001 as an Intern Engineer at Dominion. In 2003, they moved to North Atlantic Industries as a Test Engineer. In 2006, they began working at both Clear-Vu Lighting and Autronic Plastics, Inc. as a Director of Electrical Engineering/Program Manager and Electrical Engineer/Project Manager, respectively.
Roy Jacob has a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, which they obtained in 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution in 2002. In addition, they have obtained certifications from UL, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and New York City Transit. These include a UL 1598 Luminaires: Online MTR General Coverage Program (2020), a 2-day Photometry Institute (2012), and a MTA Track Safety Certification (2020).
