Diane Cronin

Diane Cronin is the owner and director of AUTUS Commercial Solutions, a business consultancy firm. Diane has over 25 years of experience in the food industry, having worked in account management, business development, and product development.

Diane began their career in 1993 as a business manager at St Ivel, a dairy products company. Diane then moved to Uniq Prepared Foods in 1998, where they spent 11 years as an account director. In this role, they were responsible for full P&L management of the £20m savoury food business, account management of diverse portfolio of accounts, development and implementation of joint business plans with key strategic partners, development and implementation of targeted category plans for the smaller accounts, management and delivery of the NPD programme in all accounts, category marketing and brand development, and line management of account manager, brand manager and development manager.

In 2009, Diane left Uniq Prepared Foods to set up their own business consultancy firm, AUTUS Commercial Solutions. AUTUS provides services such as market analysis, customer insight, new product development, commercial strategy, and category management. The company has worked with a number of major food brands including Nestle, Mars, Danone, and PepsiCo.

Diane Cronin has a BSc (hons) in Food Science from Nottingham University.
