Diego Rapela

Diego Rapela is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in industrial IoT and cloud technologies. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at AUVESY GmbH since November 2021, Diego previously held leadership roles at Körber Digital as VP of Application Foundation and VP of Engineering, where expertise in developing central IoT hubs and engineering cloud products was demonstrated. Prior to that, significant contributions as a Senior IoT Engineer at connyun GmbH focused on machine connectivity technologies. A substantial tenure at SAP SE included roles as Development Architect, Area Product Owner, and Software Architect, showcasing versatility in software development and product management. Earlier positions include scientific research at ABB AG and consulting at Interactive Objects Software GmbH. Diego also has academic experience as an Assistant Professor and holds a Doctorate in Engineering Sciences with a focus on Robotics from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, along with a Master's in Systems Engineering from Universidad Católica de Córdoba.
